Our passionate team combines proactive healthcare professionals, project managers, accredited finance managers, community health workers, lawyers, and monitoring and evaluation specialists with best-in- class skills. We are committed to find solutions to individual’s reproductive health challenges. This means our beneficiaries get the highest standard of sexual and reproductive health information and services.

As a pharmacist, global health specialist, creative and innovation award-winner, and project manager expert for over 7 years, Monica has strategically led, monitored, and evaluated projects and teams. She is currently working for Healthy Shield Foundation as a Founder and Director of Programs. In her roles, Monica has served as an Operations Manager in Tanzania and country Coordinator in Kenya. She has worked in sexual and reproductive health and rights, last mile supply of medicines including contraception using a social market strategy, gender equality, and economic empowerment projects. She has strategically engaged with governments, local and international partners in Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe.

Monica holds a BSc in Pharmacy from St. John’s University of Tanzania and an MSc in Global Health and Management from the University of Aberdeen. She is a winner of the Scottish Innovative Student Award and the Chevening Scholarship Award. Monica is an alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), member of the FIP secretariat in Africa and an active member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Tanzania (PST).

Her interest is achieving equitable access to sexual and reproductive health services and products by communicating and implementing evidence-based information and projects to improve the quality of life for marginalized and vulnerable population.

Rachel Julius Mollel is a sociologist and public health specialist with more than five years of working experience in communities. She has been working in Tanzania with local and International NGOs serving the needy. She is passionate about bringing positive changes in areas of gender-based violence, Sexual reproductive health and rights, gender equality and women economic empowerment.

Rachel Julius Mollel

Betrina Bishubo  is a co-founding and  Finance Officer at HESHIF with over three years of experience in overseeing financial transactions of the organization. She holds a bachelor degree in business administration from the AP. Goyal Shimla University in India. She has been working in Tanzania with local and international organizations in empowering women economically, enlightening them on sexual reproductive health and rights and providing basic health there where no one else will go hence transforming villages into strong, healthy and well informed communities.

Devis Antony Mhagama is a cofounding member of HESHIF. He is a Pharmacist by training and has more than 7 years of working experience in hospital pharmacy. He is specializing in Clinical Pharmacy and inspired to use his skills and knowledge to strengthen healthcare systems and provide education on rational use of medicinesincluding family planning in communities.
