Healthy Shield Foundation
We are a Non-Government Organisation not-for-profit based in Tanzania. Founded in 2019, we look for a unique way to offer sexual and reproductive health information and services. Our ultimate goal is to save lives.
We do that by increasing the uptake of sexual and reproductive healthcare services including family planning. We deploy a human rights approach to enhance body autonomy for all deserving adolescent girls, young women, people living with disability, and youth.
HESHIF obtained its registration (00NGO/R/048) in July 2019 under the Tanzania NGOs Act No. 24/2002 as amended in 2005.

Guided by this purpose, we empower, educate and protect underserved adolescent girls, young women, people living with disability, and youth through increased access to quality sexual and reproductive health and rights information and services.

Our Policies
